Our Core Services
Whether you’re looking for individual therapy or relationship counseling services, I look forward to collaborating with you toward your wellbeing.

Individual Counseling
Individual counseling typically includes weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly one-on-one 50-minute sessions focused on your unique goals and collaborative treatment planning. For new clients, weekly or bi-weekly sessions are the minimum recommendation so we can get to know each other and most effectively work toward your goals.
The first session includes more formal “information gathering” so I can get some essential details to inform our work together. Our next sessions will be guided by your goals and reasons for seeking counseling, and we will work together to identify both the frequency of sessions and style of counseling that meet your needs and lifestyle.

Couples & Relationship Counseling
Couples or relationship counseling can include any two or more individuals involved in a romantic, intimate relationship with each other. This is distinct from family or group counseling.
My typical couples/relationship counseling structure involves an initial consultation call with all parties included to see if I am a good fit for your needs. The initial sessions include “information gathering”, assessment, and collaborative treatment planning and goal setting. For effective relationship therapy, I recommend that clients aim to commit to weekly (bi-weekly if necessary) sessions for the next three months – if it feels like a good therapeutic fit, of course. While there is no obligation to continue for a specific length of time, this starting timeline is to allow us to build familiarity and start to take action steps toward your goals.
